Veritas Bellum

Plot-Three hundred years ago an Exploratory Spaceship called The Unstoppable Discovery landed on Pluto, it was the first human operated vessel to ever have done so. A Scientific Research time dug deep into the ice of the planet and three thousand feet down they reached a hollow spot. Using a small camera they saw what they had found, first was the hole they had dug, next was the hollow spot, five meters from the start of the spot was a plate made from an unknown metallic alloy.

After widening the hole they sent several small pods that contained up to 2-3 people. They began chipping away at the ice surrounding the plate. They soon found a doorway that led into it, and found a that the plate was actually a sphere, and it was full with technology much more advanced then our own.

The sphere, most likely an Observatory Facility, had an atmosphere inside it that consisted of methane gas. The methane had leaked, causing the frozen layer of methane ice that surrounded the sphere. The sphere had a device that generated the methane, so that they had unlimited supply of atmosphere, this is why there is so much ice. The device must have quit when the facility lost power. which is odd, if they had the technological capability to create a device that made there atmosphere, why couldn't they build a device that created power?

From the technology in the facility humans began to become a very technologically advanced species. They learned of unlimited atmosphere production, new weaponry, new defense systems, cyro sleep, and best of all, Ultrateleportation (explained below).

They grew like wild fire, spreading across the galaxy. At the year 2441 the centennial anniversary of the discovery, they had three hundred controlled planets, a fleet of 100,000 star ships, and unfortunately, a contestant.

The Vertisam, a race of aliens that were driven by pure rage, had descended upon the humans. Although at first they were at peace, simply racing against each other to obtain a planet, it soon escalated into much more. Both species began to sabotage the others plans, or steal new technology. This escalated it even more, they declared war on one another.

The Vertisam, although they had around the same technology, lacked strategic warfare, and replaced it with blind rage. The battle was short, and casualties were few, the Vertisam were destroyed. However, the battle was long from over; an unstoppable species of monsters came down on humanity, crippling its growing empire.

The Vertisam and Homo sapiens attacked these monsters, but never fully became allies. Sometimes they would both make assaults that would have worked perfectly, but they both did it at the same time, and they lost.

The humans began building Artificial Intelligences that were had full sentience. They placed them in combat suits that greatly shifted the tide of the war, but the Vertisam did the same and the two groups of AIs attacked each other constantly on the battle field, forgetting all about the real enemy.

Finally, as a last stroke the Humans created a small team of the best of the best of there soldiers. This is there first mission, and for the good of humanity, they must win.

Ultrateleportation-teleportation that sends whatever is using the device to anywhere in the galaxy at speeds up to three light years per second.

Star Ships-there ships are a large ball with a long body, from where the body and bridge connect come two large cannons. From the other side of the body two engines extend from either side. The main weapons are the cannons, there are several missile pods that hold up to thirty Estim Bombs (named after there creator, destructive force of five nuclear warheads) (up to twenty pods except on Destroyers which have thirty).

Apollo-The monsters, or Apollo, are called this because of there appearance and ability. They are huge beasts that have two legs, four arms, and look like black rock and have red veins of fire. There weapons are there ability to control fire, they shoot large balls of fire at the enemy. There star ships are made from the same substance as they are, but are shaped into a long rod with a large ball at each end. The ships weapons are fire.

Vertisam-use pistols, rifles, modern day weapons. There star ships are just long rods, and they are fitted with many weapons. This cuts down speed and maneuverability.



By the way, you can be humans or Vertisam. Cameo characters can be the Artificial Intelligence Combat Suits, or the Apollo.

By the way, Vertisam are 6-6'5" feet, have no hair, and usually wear armour that covers there entire body, the armour is very bulky.
